Elisabetta has a long term experience in water resources management, numerical modelling of groundwater flow and geochemical characterization at the regional scale. She is specialised on water-rock interaction and natural background levels. She also deals with the effects of climate changes on the hydrologic cycle, the groundwater flow modelling at the regional scale, the sustainable water resources management, and water scarcity and drought issues.
